The Restaurant

Open since 1991, Ciao Ristorante is an institution when it comes to Italian dining in Kuala Lumpur. If you are looking for a truly authentic Italian food experience, our 30 years of commitment will not disappoint you.

The restaurant resembles a rustic Italian farm house with a cosy garden and a small lake overlooking the golf course. The surrounding greenery and the ample parking facilities make us a unique venue for outdoor weddings and any other type of events. Spacious high-ceilinged rooms are suitable for indoor events too.

Very nice ambience and food is really good Italian food. Wine goes well with the food too. The waitresses are quite attentive and helpful. The scenery of the glasshouse is amazing, especially on a sunny day. It is facing the golf course next door so there are lots of greens and clear enough to get lots of sunshine and natural lighting. It’s literally an all round Photo Booth! The manager Alex is very helpful and full of humour! That’s if, you can take it =pI left something there after a wedding event, contacted Alex and he found it almost instantly. Was able to collect it the same day.

Had a good Italian dinner at Ciao, super big prawns with angel hair spaghetti was so good.Calamari was crispy outside and still tender inside.Tiramisu was also really good without being too sweet. The place has good ambiance and able to host big groups and even events.

A spacious dining area with trained staff and good ambience. The food we tried were quite good though a tad expensive. One interesting and tasty dish was the fold-over pizza. Tiramisu was pretty good. A plus point is the ample parking.

Beautiful place and ambiance amidst the crazy developments around KL. Instantly feel transported to a rustic Italian place. The restaurant is big and with ample parking. We came for dinner and saw that they also have the space for wedding.Food is good and basic, Italian wines suggested were of good taste and value. The Italian manager also paid special attention with dietary request which we appreciated.Toilets are clean and well maintained. Overall great experience that worth every penny paid.

I'm feeling lucky I've found this restaurant occasionally by passing through and decided to give it a try. The bread given was a great starter. A person like me never like a lamb meat but this is the very first time I love the lamb rack, it changed my mind and I do start to love trying lamb meat now, I do only hope the lamb rack to served in bigger size. The grill seafood plate was good too especially the big prawn and seabass, and it has my favorite scallop in, just nothing to shout out about the squid. Although the food are more on the salty side, but I'm a "salty person" so I'm could accept it. Will be definitely return for second visit to try on the other food that looks amazing too.
